The Enuma Elish is a Mesopotamian creation account. The story of Marduk and Tiamat, also known as Babylonian Genesis or "the Combat myth." The Mesopotamian creation account that ends with the creation of the world, which put into context refers to the Babylonian empire (Tim Mackie). This is one of the oldest stories available to mankind (Jordan Peterson).
Jordan Peterson's telling of the Enuma Elish:
The elder Gods kill their father Apsu (order) and build their house on his corpse. On top of that, the Gods are impulsive and make a lot of noise disturbing Tiamat. Tiamat (chaos) wakes up, comes back to wipe them out like a flood. Tiamat sends an army of monsters led by Kingu. The elder Gods send one God after another to battle Tiamat but fails. The Gods are powers, but not that which confronts chaos and prevails. Marduk among the elder Gods was in a class of his own, he can speak magic words and has eyes all over his head. Discovery of Marduk is the discovery of communicative speed as a primary deity should be on the top of the dominance hierarchy. Marduk makes a deal, he is to be voted king of the Gods and hold power to determine destiny. Marduk fills Tiamat fills her with the wind and encapsulates her in a net. He cuts Tiamat into pieces and makes the world out of her. He cuts Kingu and makes human beings out of his blood.
