[[Joel Ulli]] speaks of "unearthing" career archetypes — his framework of naming one's vocational calling. By giving an identity a name, an identity can be take better shape, and become a path towards a guiding star. This is about what one is "meant" to do in this world. Whether that is true a priori is irrelevant. Realizing something one is "meant" to do is a revelatory experience, and in such experiences people not only find meaning, but find the scheme by which they can continue to recreate meaningful experiences. "Getting in tune with a core pattern" "Soul-led career" Career path conviction: "A deep, solid, truthful inner knowing that the work you're doing in the world is in alignment with your soul, injecting a profound conviction within you that this work is your sacred duty in this lifetime." *Reflective notes: "knowing" instead of "deciding," and conviction towards knowledge instead of decision. This is assuming a platonic epistemology.*
