An argument is made up of a conclusion and one or more premises.
Premise indicators:

Conclusion indicators:

An enthymeme is an incomplete argument with missing premises or the conclusion.
## Evaluating Arguments
Two dimensions by which we evaluate arguments is with respect to their truth and their validity.
- Valid = An argument is structurally/formally correct. The conclusion logically follows from the premises.
- Truth = The information used as premises correspond to reality.
